プレゼンテーション/Presentation in English

昨日初めて英語でのプレゼンテーションを行いました。日本でもあまり発表する機会は多くなかったのですが、授業のセミナーで５分程度の発表を代表補佐ということで立ち会うことになり、発表していた同級生から“ここ発言してみる？”といわれドキドキしながら発表しました。自分では何を言っていたのかも聞いていた人たちがどのように理解していたかも分からず頭が真っ白になったプレゼンテーションでした。とりあえずデビューしたということで、周りからは一定の評価をして頂き、スタートラインに立てた気がします。来週からはassignment としての発表もあり気を引き締めてプレゼンテーションにのぞみたいと思います。

Yesterday, I made a presentation in English for the first time. I haven’t made a lot of presentation in Japan. I attended a colleague’s presentation as a vice representative, but suddenly she suggested me to make a latter half of presentation. Sudden suggestion made me nervous, but I managed to do it. I cannot remember what to say and I am not sure what audience are feeling about my presentation. But they valued it to some extent with applause. We are going to have two presentations for module assessments next week. I’ll do my best.
