倫理委員会/Ethics form

１月２５日に学内の倫理委員会にAPPLICATION FORM FOR ETHICAL APPROVAL（倫理委員会申請書）を提出しました。修士論文を行う際、学内の倫理委員会に研究書類を提出し、研究のプロセスが問題ないかどうかということを評価され、承認をもらうことが必要なのです。基本的なアイデアは自分で作成したのですが、多くの人に助けられ手伝ってもらいながら書類を提出しました。私の研究はネパールで新生児（生まれたての赤ちゃん）とお母さんを対象にした研究で、母親のリスクファクター（喫煙、アルコール、栄養など）がどのように関与するのか、今までスタディーとは違った観点で研究しようと思っています。倫理委員会無事に通るとよいのですが…

I submitted application form for ethical approval in LSTM research ethics committee on 25th January. It is necessary for me to gain approval from LSTM ethics committee to conduct my master project as well as ethical research committee in Nepal. Through this process I have learned a lot of things such as sample size, methodology etc. Now I move on to questionnatre. Lot of the staff and friends helped me for my application. I wish a fruitful project in Nepal, so I try work hard as much as possible.

A HAPPY NEW YEAR

宿題の提出が終わりようやく新年を迎えられた感じです（再提出にならないよう祈っています）。日本の片田舎から長崎を経由して言葉の通じない異国のアカデミックな環境でhEnglish（ヘングリッシュ）を使いこなしながら暮らしています。カルチャーショックでは言い表せないほどの大きな波を楽しんだり、飲み込まれそうになりながらも多くの人に励まされ、助けてもらいながら、自分の行く末を見定めようとしています（案じています）。

皆さんにとってよい1年でありますように。

Finishing all assignment, I am really feeling a happy new year. (hope not resitting). With my strange English, I am surviving in academic environment of foreign country where I cannot communicate easily, from Japanese countryside. I am enjoying and sometimes struggling my present situation. However, with a lot of help and advice from my friends, mentors, and my family, I will progress forward and decide what to do as a medical professional.
